The Last Carnival.

First off, if you haven’t heard of this band, do, and why ever not!?

I had the great pleasure in joining a bunch of photographers (including the talented Ian Pearson) and get the chance to photograph these guys on there opening night of their UK tour.

…I’ll point out this actually happened a few weeks ago now, but an unfortunate broken transfer cable halted mission photo upload!

For me, the evening couldn’t of gone much better-great music and new challenges and experiences for my photography. I was able to get up close and personal, use more than one camera and try out a whole array of new things. Perfect. The big one for me was the dreaded HIGH ISO! but all in all I surprised myself, but of course i’ll let you be the judges. View the rest at my Flickr

Village Coffee

I kind of woke up one morning last week with a real intention in finding coffee in my small local village of Lindfield.

It turns out Lindfield is actually home to World Coffees. Through this I discovered Field and Forrest, a delicatessen, who also served some fresh coffee- along with a friendly welcome.

My new found ‘carry my camera as much as possible’ intention proved useful this day.

My custom cans

A little while ago I set myself the challenge to build myself some decent, custom headphones. This crazy idea came about after spotting this blog http://doesitpew.blogspot.com/2011/03/diy-hifi-orthodynamic-portable.html run by a girl called Stacey. Quite frankly it got me inspired. So here we are, some custom Audio Technica ES7′s. I learnt plenty along the way, along with the helping hands of my dad…and frankly they sound great.

Vain.

Well here we are. He’s me. Vain? yes it is a bit, but what can I say..I love this lens.

Welcome to the site

Well, here we are at the launch of my little site.  Hopefully what you’ll see here is some ‘Photo Blogging’ – covering the encounters and musings from my day-to-day.

Please stick around, enjoy the ride, make sure you visit regularly and watch as this site hopefully grows and becomes stronger!

Please do leave a comment, give some suggestions or just drop me an email at contact@chris-sanderson.net

Peace.
